Rodrigo Leão signs the soundtrack of this Hollywood movie.
The soundtrack of ‘The Butler’ will be available on the 2nd of September.
The movie ‘The Butler’, with the original soundtrack signed by the Portuguese musician Rodrigo Leão, and have a full casting set with great names of Hollywood.
The director Lee Daniels, is a known fan of the Portuguese songwriter, chose Rodrigo Leão to sign the soundtrack of "The Butler", from between the well known international names in the music sector.
Rodrigo Leão reveals that he immediately felt "connected with this movie; first because of the story and then with the director and actors I really admire".
One month after the challenge was made, the musician was already working and composing in the soundtrack. From his work, normally described as "cinematographic", are some of the soundtracks of several movies.
With the direction of Lee Daniels, known by his nomination for the Oscars in 2009 with ‘Precious’, the movie "The Butler" counts with Forest Whitaker in the role of the White House butler that served seven presidents in the United States.
With Whitaker we have more great names of Hollywood, like Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, James Marsden, David Oyelowo, Vanessa Redgrave, Alan Rickman, Liev Schreiber, Robin Williams and Mariah Carey.
‘The Butler’ was the movie most seen in the weekend première in the United States and Canada, with 18,7 million Euros in Box Office tickets.
The original soundtrack, composed by Rodrigo Leão will be available at the 2nd of September.
‘The Butler’ will have another soundtrack album in which includes 2 of Rodrigo's music and also a new theme of Fantasia.
Lenny Kravitz also composed one song for Gladys Knight voice.
This last album will be available on the 9th of September.
