Dracula (1992)

Dracula (1992) (also known as Bram Stoker's Dracula), is a movie based on the 1897 novel by Bram Stoker.
Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and Written by James V. Hart.

Synopsis:
The vampire comes to England to seduce a visitor's fiancée and inflict havoc in the foreign land.

I have to say that I LOVE THIS MOVIE, OST, CAST, PHOTOGRAPHY!!
It's one of my favourite stories ever (since always Dracula from Bram Stoker - the One and Only Dracula, has fascinated me).

Drakul -The Army General

A book is a book, but this movie is one of the best adaptation of it.
The always fight of Good vs Evil... but was he always Evil?? Wasn't he misuderstood and suffering because of his lost? (not going to be a Spoiler, but think about it).

We have 3 persons representing the 90's:

Gary Oldman (oh yeah!!! Who didn't want a Dracula like him is his life??)
Keanu Reeves (Keanu... no comments ;)  )
Winona Ryder (argh... but it's 90's for the boys as well right?)

And with that...what about the OST?? Perfect. I remember that I had the OST (still exists) in a cassette!

This post is just to remind you of this movie, if you saw it, see it again; if you didn't... You weren't from the 90's or simply you missed a good movie!

LOVE NEVER DIES

Cast:

Gary Oldman - Count Dracula (have to say again: YEAH!!)
Keanu Reeves - Jonathan Harker
Winona Ryder - Wilhemina (Mina) Murray/Elisabeta
Anthony Hopkins - Abraham Van Helsing/Cesare
Richard E. Grant - Dr. Jack Seward
Sadie Frost - Lucy Westenra
Tom Waits - R.M. Renfield

Some of Draculas' lines:

  • I have crossed oceans of time to find you.
  • The luckiest man who walks on this earth is the one who finds true love.
  • [as Dracula's shadow falls over Mina] Tu eşti dragostea vieţii mele... vieţii mele. Translation: you are the love of my life... my life!
  • [about the wolves that are howling] Listen to them: (evil laughs) the children of the night. What sweet music they make.
  • Where is my god, he has forsaken me.
  • Do you think you can destroy me with your items? I who served the cross, I who commanded nations, hundreds of years before you were born?
  • There is much to be learned from Beasts.
